Itinerary
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and proceed towards Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to rescued and orphaned elephants. Witness these majestic creatures being cared for and, if timing permits, enjoy watching them bathe in the nearby river. Continue to a Herbal Spice Garden, where you will learn about Sri Lanka's renowned spices and traditional Ayurvedic medicines. Upon reaching Kandy, enjoy a city tour covering: Kandy View Point for panoramic views of the city Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's holiest shrines Gem Museum showcasing Sri Lanka's world-famous gemstones Scenic drive around Kandy Lake In the evening, witness a vibrant Cultural Dance Show featuring traditional Kandyan dances, drumming performances, and fire-walking displays. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's picturesque hill station known as "Little England." En route, visit the sacred Hanuman Temple at Ramboda, an important site associated with the Ramayana Trail. Continue through lush tea plantations to visit a Tea Factory, where you will learn about the tea manufacturing process from plucking to packaging. Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon Tea while admiring the scenic surroundings. Later, visit the beautiful Ramboda Waterfall, one of Sri Lanka's most spectacular waterfalls nestled amidst the hills. After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Nuwara Eliya's spiritual and natural attractions. Visit Gregory Lake, a beautiful man-made lake surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. Proceed to the revered Seetha Amman Temple, believed to mark the location where Goddess Sita was held captive during the Ramayana era. After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Yala National Park. En route, stop at the charming hill town of Ella, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and tea-covered mountains. Visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, an engineering marvel built during the British colonial era and one of Sri Lanka's most photographed landmarks. Continue to Ravana Falls, a magnificent waterfall linked to the Ramayana legend of King Ravana. After enjoying the scenic beauty of Ella, continue your journey to Yala. Early morning departure for an exciting Yala National Park Jeep Safari. Yala National Park is Sri Lanka's most famous wildlife sanctuary and is renowned for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world.
