*Required Documents for Electronic Visa (Adult) with Insurance

• Document Checklist & Requirements • Application Form - Completed and signed by each applicant. - Applications for minors must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Valid Passport - Issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least three months beyond the intended return date. - Must contain a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamps. - Note: Passports with manual entries for biographical data post-01/04/2010 are strictly not accepted. .
  • Previous Passports & Visas - Include all previous passports in original form. .
  - Provide clear photocopies of any previous Schengen, UK, USA, or Canada visas along with the passport bio-data pages. .
  - If any visa was previously refused, documentation or a written explanation must be provided. • Proof of Legal Residence - Evidence of legal residence in India for non-Indian nationals. .
  • Photographs - Two recent passport-sized photographs (35–40 mm width) against a white background, not older than six months. .
  - Attach one photo to the application form and clip the second photo to the last page of the passport. .
  • Letters & Reservations - Personal Covering Letter: A signed letter introducing the applicant, stating the trip's purpose, detailed itinerary, and details of accompanying travellers. .
  - Employer Introduction Letter: Original letter on company letterhead, signed and stamped by HR or employer, stating position, trip purpose, and coverage of expenses. .
  - Invitation Letter: (If applicable) Original or copy from Portugal business partner, signed and stamped, detailing invitee and business itinerary. .
  - Flight Reservation: Proof of roundtrip transport reservation with applicant's name, including full travel itinerary if visiting multiple Schengen states. .
  - Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel booking, holiday home, or campus residence reservation covering the entire stay. .
  - Travel Insurance: Medical insurance covering a minimum of €30,000 (USD 50,000), including repatriation and emergency medical coverage across the Schengen area. 3. Proof of Financial Means • Employed Applicants: Last 3 months' salary slips, bank statements, and Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the past two years. .
  • Self-Employed: Business registration documents, last 3 months' business bank statements, and personal Income Tax Returns. .
  • Retired Applicants: Pension statements for the past three months. .
  • Students / Unemployed: Parents' bank statements for the past three months, Income Tax Returns, financial support letter, and passport copies. .
  • Sponsor Documentation: If sponsored by a Portuguese citizen, include the "Statement of Responsibility" along with relevant financial and supporting documents.
